GHMC Standing Committee Approves 13 Resolutions
Hyderabad GHMC today held Standing Committee meeting chaired by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. Besides Commissioner Dr B Janardhan Reddy, senior officers and 13 out of 15 members attended the meeting.
The standing committee gave approval to 13 resolutions which were passed and would be submitted to the government for its approval. The proposals include amendment to 148 section of 1955 GHMC Act which empowers the GHMC to lease out its properties, proposal to construct a new market bhavan in Patancheru at old market complex, Rs five lakh health insurance to each 155 corporators, including their wife/husband, two children and two independents, proposal to construct double bed room houses in 95 acres at Kollur in Ramachandrapuram and construction of drainage at a cost of Rs 2.25 crore at Turka palli in Alwal circle.
