In Rajasthan, after stopping first spell of monsoon rain, rescue and relief operations have been expedited in flooded districts including Sirohi, Jalore, Pali and Barmer. Thousands of people still living in shelters in flooded areas.NDRF, Army and other teams are engaged in rescue works and restoring bridges and roads that have been damaged by the showers. Rajasthan received 48.2 per cent more rainfall compared to last year till this period.
