HYderabad; One Fatal Road Accident occurred on 05.06.2021 at about 0700 hours at Gulmohar Park Junction, Serilingampally, Ranga Reddy District, under the limits of Chandanagar Police Station, Cyberabad, in which the accused person Chotu Munda, drove the RMC Vehicle bearing No. TS07UJ9055 in rash and dangerous manner and hit to a Suzuki Access Scooty bearing No. TS07HC7342. As a result of which, the rider of Suzuki Access Scooty Shahid Suhayeeb Abdullah S/o. Mohammed Abdullah, Age: 35 years, Occupation: BHEL Employee, R/o. West End Colony, Bandlaguda, Himayathsagar, Ranga Reddy District, succumbed to injuries.
A case is registered vide FIR No. 376/2021 U/sec. 304(II) IPC of Chandhanagar Police Station, Cyberabad and is under investigation.
The accused Chotu Munda (A-1) driver of the RMC Vehicle bearing No. TS07UJ9055, drove the vehicle in reckless manner and hit to a Suzuki Access Scooty bearing No. TS07HC7342 and the supervisor Dattuluri Santosh Varma (A-2) though having clear knowledge about Heavy Motor Vehicle are not allowed between 06:00 hrs to 15.00 hrs, by knowing clearly that it was highly dangerous and can cause serious accidents allowed the RMC vehicles to move on roads. This amounts to culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
On 07.06.2021 the accused persons Chotu Munda (A-1) S/o. Sudershan Munda, Age: 35 years, R/o. Veretex Homes Pvt. Ltd., Nallagandla, Serilingampally mandal, Ranga Reddy District and Dattuluri Santosh Varma (A-2) S/o. Trimurthy Raju, Age: 49 years, R/o. Neeldri Residency, Lake View Colony, Pratahinagar, Kukatpally were arrested and remanded to judicial custody for a period of 14 days.
Cyberabad Traffic Police appeal all the drivers and owners of heavy/transport vehicles to educate themselves about traffic rules and regulations regularly in view of road safety.
