Hyderabad: Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has urged the Excise Department to punish the persons having links with drugs mafia though they were whoever it may be, severely.
Congress MLCs Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Akula Lalitha and Parigi MLA T Rammohan Reddy met the Excise Department Commissioner Chandravadan today. They urged the Commissioner not to leave any person whoever it may be.
Speaking on the occasion, Ponguleti said that he was congratulating the Excise department for initiating steps in regard to drugs. He said that he came to know that some persons were trying to water down the case and hence they met Commissioner. Action should be taken against the persons involved in the case irrespective of their political affiliation, he demanded and made it clear that the Congress party would extend its full support to the drugs case.
