Distribute Pattadar Pass Books On March 11, Cm Tells Collectors

Hyderabad,  Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today directed the officials concerned to take up a State-wide drive for distributing pattadar pass books to farmers on March 11.

The Chief Minister conducted a Collectors’ Conference at Pragathi Bhavan here with ministers, Chief Secretary SP Singh, Government Advisor Rajiv Sharma and others and discussed several issues. Besides emphasizing the need for time-bound development of the villages with all facilities, KCR sought distribution of Pattadar Pass Books to the farmers as per land records purification survey.

“Gear up for the hassle-free distribution of Pattadar Pass Books to the farmers in a single day across the State by supplying the same to the villages a day in advance. The State government will release required funds for the program to press in a nodal officer and a vehicle and involve the leaders for smooth drive”, KCR said. He also said the District Collectors should involve ministers, MPs, MLAs and local leaders for a smooth distribution of the pass books to the farmers.

The Chief Minister also discussed on land records cleansing survey, pass books distribution, Panchayat Raj elections, village Panchayat funds, amendments to the Municipal Administration Act, Rs 4,000 crop investment to the farmers and 24-hour power supply and other issues. He also asked the Collectors to ensure that all the deserving and genuine people get the passbooks without fail on time. The pass books ought to be distributed should reach the village a day before the program in advance and appoint a special officer for monitoring, he added.
