In a press note today, the Commissioner said that a news report published in a Telugu daily on functioning of pubs is far from truth. He asserted that monitoring of the conduct of all commercial and entertainment establishments including Pubs & Restaurants is being consistently done by multiple agencies within the Police, to have mutual checks and verification. In this regard, all transgressions are inevitably pointed-out and any dereliction shown by responsible staff is immediately corrected. All the Pubs and Entertainment establishments within the City are getting closed at the designated timings and even minor deviations in this regard are also being minutely checked.
