Hyderabad 01 Jul (PMI): The Doctors’ Day this year is very special because of coronavirus pandemic as all the doctors and healthcare professionals who are serving in these trying times by risking their lives either in primary as well as secondary care setups or in dedicated coronavirus care facilities and the theme of Doctors’ Day this year is to “lessen the mortality of COVID-19.
CP Cyberabad Shri. VC Sajjanar(IPS) has felicitated and rewarded the Cyberabad ADCP (Admin) Dr. Lavanya NJP, Cyberabad Training Centre (CTC) Unit Doctor’s Dr. Sukumar, Dr. Saritha & SPO Gopinath (Medical Assistant) on Doctors’ Day for their relentless service during COVID-19.
Cyberabad CP said as recognition to the service rendered by the medical doctors the National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1 across India to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy popularly known as Dr B.C. Roy and this day is organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) every year.
