CP CYBERABAD INAUGARATED HOME GUARDS MUTUALLY AIDED CO-OPERATIVE    THRIFT & CREDIT SOCIETY LTD.

Hyderabad Dec 27 (PMI): Commissioner of Police Sri VC Sajjanar IPS today inaugurated Cyberabad Home Guards Mutually Aided Co-Operative Thrift & Credit society ltd. He said Cyberabad Home Guards mutually aided co-operative thrift & credit society ltd, it is first of its kind in TS state.

The CP Cyberabad said he is very happy to inform that for the first time in Telangana State Cyberabad police is formed a Cyberabad Home Guards Mutually Aided Co-Operative Thrift & Credit Society Ltd.  The Home Guard Co-Operative Credit Society will not only give financial assistance to the home guards working within Cyberabad, but would also give them a distinct identity of them being a part of Cyberabad police.

He further said, ‘this will be beneficial for 1049 home guard officers the loan amount will be sanctioned Rs.50, 000/- per person interest at the rate of 6% per annum.  Moreover this loan amount including interest will be recovered in 50 installments i.e., up to 4 years two months. The society will start giving away loans to the eligible candidates after three months of the formation. Home guards Co-Operative Credit Society will recover every month Rs. 1000/- as thrift amount, Rs. 50/- as welfare amount and Rs. 50/- as first month admission fees.

The society would also work towards identifying the problems of the home guards and would ensure, and would make sure that the required help is delivered, whenever needed. This would exclusively work for the welfare of our home guards’ he added.

In future this loan amount may increase according to home guard officer salaries. Apart from this, Cyberabad Police is working for the welfare of HG Officers. An amount of Rs. 30,000/- for funeral charges to legal heir of Home Guard who expired on duty. An amount of Rs. 20,000/- for retirement benefits and Rs. 1200/- for retirement gift. The Children of the members who will pass the SSC, Intermediate and any qualified Degree from recognized University they will be given Scholarship from the society. A member who takes the loan from the society causes any causalities like death, the same amount will be reimbursed from the insurance. Meeting will be held every month with the Directors at CP Office, Cyberabad. General body meeting will be held once in a year.
