Cmc In Old Police Commissioner Office

Hyderabad,  Hyderabad City Police has set up a Central Monitoring Cell in the premises of Central Crime Station, Detective Department at Nampally, beside Old PCR, Hyderabad.

The Central Monitoring Cell will be dedicated to looking into grievances faced by any member of public due to Non-registration of FIR in any Police Station in Hyderabad City.  In case any citizen has been a victim of a cognizableoffence and after going to the Police Station physically with a specific complaint, the same has not been registered as an FIR, the complainant may approach the CMC.

 The CMC will examine the complaint and after due verification, in case a cognizable offence is made out, ensure that a FIR is registered. In cases where FIR is registered in the Police Station after intervention of the CMC, it will also follow up the progress of the investigation. The pubic however may first approach the jurisdictional Police Station for registration of case and obtain a receipt for the given complaint.  Only then if no action is taken on the complaint i.e.

          The complainant may approach the CMC and it will not entertain any other type of complaint other than non registration of FIR.
