CM will give RB cheques in Karimnagar on May 10: Etala

Hyderabad, May 6 (PMI): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will launch the prestigious Rythu Bandhu (RB) scheme first of its kind in the country at Indiranagar in Karimnagar district on May 10, at 11 am, Finance Minister Etala Rajender today said. The Finance Minister along with local leaders and officials has inspected the arrangements for the chief minister program here in the district. On the occasion he said that the chief minister has succeeded by launching every important scheme from Karimnagar and also launching the Rythu Bandhu scheme he said. About one lakh farmers will turn out to the cheques distribution and Pattadar Passbooks program by the chief minister he said. The officials should make necessary arrangements with all facilities to the farmers with chairs, drinking water and avoid inconvenience. He said that Karimnagar used to give strength to the chief minister for taking up any such program of welfare. This time KCR is launching cheques of Rs 4000 per acre towards crop investment to help farmers avoid loan Rajender said. KCR has great affection on Karimnagar turning out to be water hub with abundant water resources with projects the finance minister maintained.

In addition to waiving off Rs 17000 cr of farmers loans the KCR government is now coming up with a unique cheques distribution which will be a major reprieve to the farmers in the country, he said. He also said that the governments of Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are trying to replicate our welfare schemes. As many as Rs 12000 cr being spent for the cheques distribution program by the government and in the first phase about Rs 6000 cr for the purpose, Rajender said. However, the opposition congress is trying to get mileage by stalling projects by moving courts he alleged. KCR will take up cheques distribution program at Huzurabad on May 10. (PMI)
