CM showers Rs 15 crore for Lakshmapur development

Hyderabad,  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced sops to Lakshmapur and Keshavaram in Medchal district and vowed to develop them on par with Gajwel town.

Addressing a public meeting today, KCR said Rs 15 crore will be given to Lakshmapur for developmental works and said the local lake will be filled with waters for 365 days. Next year, the locality will get Godavari water, he said, adding that the village will get all facilities like drinking water, power supply, roads, drainage, community hall, cemetery and others. He asked the officials to take immediate action to complete all the works in six months.

Stating that Rs 75 lakh will be spent for a function hall, the Chief Minister announced 100 double bedroom units to the village. He directed the officials to do mutation of records and spend Rs 30 lakh to construct a building for welfare of women in Keshavaram. The Chief Minister asked the farmers to remove automatic starters at the farm fields on getting 24-hour power supply and make use of waters for two crops. The government will deposit Rs 8,000 into their bank accounts for two crops, he said.

The Chief Minister also said he would develop Keshavaram with all facilities. He appealed to Keshavaram people to work for village development and for green expansion by planting saplings. The officials will supply six saplings to 720 households, who have to plant and protect on Aliabad and Ganeshpalli, he said, adding that he will offer two buffalo’s each if they protected the plants.
