Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader T Harish Rao said that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had insulted the people of Telangana in her speech.
Sonia Gandhi attended her first public meeting in the state of Telangana after the bifurcation in Medchal on Friday.
Responding to Sonia’s comments in the public meeting, TRS leader T Harish Rao said how can Sonia talk about granting AP special status in the state of Telangana. He went on to say that leaders who could not implement their assurances in Andhra Pradesh are being invited into Telangana politics.
Chandrababu, is a loner in the AP politics, what is he going to achieve in Telangana? he asked. He added, Chandrababu is going to lose in the coming elections in AP. In the presence of L Ramana, Medak TDP leaders joined the Congress party. The allies in the alliance lack synergy, he said. TDP, Congress may come up with many conspiracies but people of Telangana are going for TRS, he added. As the election date is approaching TRS and Mahakutami are gearing up for the final showdown on December 7. TRS leadership is also planning a strong counter for the Medchal meeting of the Congress.
T Harish Rao is the nephew of CM K Chandra Shekar Rao and has worked as irrigation minister in the state of Telangana. He is another winning horse in the upcoming elections, according to political observers. He is contesting from Siddipet constituency in the Siddipet district.
