CAG report reveals truth on corruption: Revanth

Hyderabad,  Congress leader A Revanth Reddy has said the CAG report proved that corruption took place in power purchase agreements as alleged by his party and demanded a white paper on State’s financial status.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Saturday, Revanth Reddy accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao of making the State bankrupt with his wrong figures and gave false publicity giving an impression that the State has surplus budget to borrow debts. There was a huge gap between the revenue and expenditure of the State, he said, adding that the Chief Minister has no grip on the governance and financial management.
He also alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to remove Finance Minister Eatela Rajender thinking that the latter was responsible for economic bankruptcy of the State. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was paying bills to the contractors through a green channel without any link with Finance department. “We are preparing a report on the “hollowness” of financial status of KCR government”, he said and demanded that KCR resign from his post.
