Bajrang Dal men protest at TV9 over campaign against sound pollution on Deepavali,  arrested

Hyderabad, Oct.23 (PMI): Several activists of Bajrang Dal were arrested today when they staged a dharna in front of TV9 channel at Banjara Hills against a campaign against sound pollution on Diwali saying it was hurting the sentiments of the community.

The news channel was running a campaign against use of loud crackers on Diwali. The activists brought several crackers and burst them on the road in front of the channel office. The activists tried to barge into the premises but were prevented by the police and taken into custody.
