Hyderabad’June 5 2022– The Telangana police on Saturday arrested another accused, making it four arrests in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a teenage girl in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills last week, according to media reports. It is to mention here that police had arrested three accused including two minors in the rape case until Saturday. One accused, who was arrested on Saturday, has been identified as Saduddin Malik.
It is to mention here that tension prevailed at Jubilee Hills police station on Friday as BJP workers staged a protest demanding arrest of the accused involved in the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl by a group of teenagers. Workers of BJP and BJYM staged a sit-in at the police station, raising slogans demanding arrest of the accused said to be belonging to politically influential families. Some of the protesters including women barged into police station premises but were stopped and detained by the police.
